Position Title: Technical Services Scientist
Location: Raleigh, NC
Salary: $40,000 to $70,000

Position Description:
As a Tech Services Scientist, you will be responsible for working with major ethanol customers to observe and analyze production performance, monitor enzyme usage, and make recommendations for improvement and optimization of process conditions in the production plant. You will be a key member of a cross-functional account management team built on close communication and cooperation and will travel approximately 60-80 days per year, with potential for international travel.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a BS in Chemical Engineering, Microbiology (preferred), Chemistry or a related field, and specific knowledge of the fuel ethanol process. Preferred experience includes: optimizing the ethanol production process, translating industrial problems into lab or pilot scale to aid in finding solutions, and presenting technical training to operating personnel and engineering staff. A strong customer orientation and excellent communication skills are required. Qualified candidates will have a stable work history and authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
Required Experience:
BS in Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field and specific knowledge of the fuel ethanol process.
