January 20, 2004Veterans group promotes ethanol use THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
WATERTOWN - Some South Dakota veterans are putting up highway billboards to promote the use of ethanol.
The billboards feature Mount Rushmore along with the slogan ''Way to go America'' and a red, white and blue gas pump.
The first went up along Interstate 29 near Summit last year. Now there are about 12 on various highways in South Dakota.
Shawn Richardt, post commander at Milbank, and VFW member Orrie Swayze helped organize the campaign.
