November 12, 2003Ethanol meeting planned The Ohio State University Extension Office of Preble County and the Preble County Farm Bureau have planned an educational event to help residents better understand ethanol.
The special meeting will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 2, from 7-9:30 p.m., at National Trail High School.
There is much discussion in the county about the potential construction of an ethanol plant and it has become very clear that there are many interested people who want to learn more about ethanol; the product, the process, the business, and the potential plant.
In response to this need, the Ohio State University Extension Office in Preble County and the Preble County Farm Bureau have put together this program. The purpose of this program is to inform and educate interested persons about ethanol. This program is not designed to be a public forum for debate, rather an educational environment to allow citizens to better understand ethanol, the product and the business. There will also be an update from the West Central Ohio Ethanol LLC.
Anyone having any questions about the meeting, should contact Bonnie Norris, OSU Extension Preble County, 456-8174 or the Preble County Farm Bureau office at 456-5400.
