Conference Spouse/Guest Programs

Spouses and guests will begin their program and the Fuel Ethanol Workshop opening reception on Tuesday, June 19. The next morning they will explore the historic rivertown of Stillwater. The tour begins with a trolley ride that will take them down to the picturesque streets and magnificent mansions of the lumber barons, and hear charming stories about the brings the town to life. Lunch will be on a 1980’s replica of a paddlewheel riverboat, “The Andiamo. After lunch, there will be time to explore the huge variety of shops for antiques, crafts, jewelry and art. The spouses and guest will rejoin the FEW attendees for a special evening of dinner and entertainment. On Thursday, the spouses and guests will visit the very unique Weisman Art Museum. The museum’s architect went on to build the famous Guggenheim museum in Bilbao, Spain. That afternoon, they will relax at the beautiful Como Park Conservatory for a picnic and tour of the gardens and zoo. Fee: $125.00 (Includes breakfasts, lunches, transportation, and guided tours)
