Mississippi (1999 EWS)

The Mississippi Ethanol Workshop was held last September in conjunction with a Bioenergy Workshop the following day. Using breakout sessions on various state feedstock options, barriers and potential solutions were identified with the intention of developing a tactical plan. Mississippi feels it has several excellent development options to offer to a company that may move forward in the state. The Mississippi Biomass Council meets on a regular basis and will be active partners in follow-up activities. The Council will conduct a roundtable to draft a document of reasonable state incentives for the state.
