Alaska (1999 EWS)

The University of Fairbanks was the site of the workshop last August. Since that time, a study was commissioned that will evaluate resources and sites available in southeast Alaska as well as the process technologies to determine which is most appropriate for the proposed project. A second workshop will be held August 29 in Ketchikan. Its purpose is to share information about ethanol in general and to educate everyone who may be impacted by the construction of an ethanol plant in the region.
