Alabama (1999 EWS)

Alabama's workshop was held in Birmingham last September and had a Ferrari racecar on display to demonstrate that all automobiles can use ethanol blends. At the workshop, it was determined that a group needed to be formed that would investigate the necessary conditions to develop a cellulosic ethanol plant in Alabama. That core group has held a conference call and two meeting since its workshop. Alabama is currently conducting resource assessments and site surveys.
