New York (2000 EWS)

The New York Ethanol Workshop is scheduled for September 14, 2000, in Albany. Several steering committee conference calls have been held to discuss the program agenda. Program topics will be focusing on bioenergy initiatives, production technology, environmental and economic impacts of ethanol, ethanol market opportunities, feedstock potential, and state programs and incentives to encourage production. The Workshop in Albany will lay the foundation for building a pathway towards the development of a potential ethanol industry in the state.
