Ohio (2000 EWS)

Following the Workshop last year, the Ohio Corn Growers commissioned a feasibility study that was a template used to evaluate several locations in the state as possible sites for an ethanol facility. They have now moved into a more site-specific evaluation with the intention of having a farmer-owned cooperative. A great deal of effort is going into increasing the availability of E85 refueling stations by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio and the Foundation for Environmental Education.
