South Carolina Ethanol Workshop

Regional Biomass Energy Program
The purpose of the workshop is to explore opportunities and emerging technologies for production of ethanol from non-traditional cellulose feedstocks as well as traditional feedstocks (grain). Cellulose feedstocks include local resources such as crop and forestry residues and dedicated energy crops. Economic development and the marketplace will be discussed along with environmental significance and policy
issues.
Public officials, stakeholders, agriculturalists, fleet managers, and the general public are invited.
