Jeff joined BBI in April of
2002. Prior to joining BBI, Jeff was Program Administrator for the U.S
Department of Energy Western Regional Biomass Energy Program, a program to
promote and develop biomass energy in 13 western states. Jeff administered an
average annual budget of $870,000, ran a solicitation process, and negotiated
and managed contracts.
Jeff was also the Energy
Program Administrator for the Nebraska State Energy Office, where he managed the
Institutional Conservation Program, which provides energy conservation grants to
schools and hospitals. Jeff’s responsibilities also included promoting the use
of wind, solar and biomass energy.
Jeff has a Master of
Science degree in Education from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, IL
and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Solar Design and Energy Education from
Governors State University, Park Forest South, IL.
