Ohio (2000 EWS)

Since the last issue of the EWS News, Ohio has proceeded with the commissioning of an ethanol plant pre-feasibility study. Mike Wagner, President of the Ohio Corn Growers Association, said that the workshop "was the fire that lit the fuse." The Ohio Corn Growers Association is funding a template feasibility study for interested individuals so that they may assess the viability of their project before proceeding with a full-scale feasibility study. This is an opportunity to open the door for future cellulose ethanol production in the state.
