Oregon/Washington (2000 EWS)

On April 19th, the Oregon/Washington joint workshop was held in conjunction with Transportation 2000. Environmental and sustainability issues were in the forefront of the discussions. Field residue and forest residue straw men discussions were held to examine two possible sites and to look at the opportunities offered. The state biomass coordinators are soliciting participation in a steering committee and will hold a meeting soon to discuss the next steps.
