Texas (2000 EWS)

The action items recommended at the workshop in Texas in September were to support the efforts of Representative David Swinford, mandate aquatic fuels, commission a resource assessment including grain and biomass feedstocks, have all FFVs run on E85, encourage refiners to offer base gasoline for summer fleets, and formalize an ethanol task force. There are two proposed ethanol plants in the state whose interest was spurred by the Workshop. Both are having feasibility studies completed.
